ALBUM FINISHED!!!!

the half way mark...

got half way through mixing our new album. blood started trickling out of my left ear. took a day off. back at it today, but coyotes are attacking people in the park. go figure...

the mixing process will begin soon. stevie and brian have been working hard on their vocals. brian played his trumpet beautifully. jim broke out his saxophone to compliment brian's trumpeteering. the july song will be filled out in a couple of days, and the radio song will be done within hours. the fires are burning toward the north, so smoke inhalation isn't too bad here. jim's gonna see if he can sing tonight. updates to follow...

WE DID IT!!!!

we did it!!!!

we recorded a bunch of songs. we went to d.c. and stayed at stevie's mom's. we played at the galaxy hut in arlington. we rented a car and drove down to chapel hill. we played mergefest. we drove back to d.c., got stuck in virginia's famous sunday afternoon traffic and just barely made our flight home. we did it!

MERGEFEST!

hello, all.
we will be heading out to the east coast for a couple of shows.
first, we will be playing the galaxy hut in arlington, va. on july 20th. they have tater tots!!!
then we will be heading down to chapel hill for the big blowout known as MERGEFEST.
we will be playying saturday afternoon, july 25th, at the OCSC, which is in carrboro, nc.
come to these shows, it should be quite a good time...

the seed has been planted, folks!
we have officially asked the one and only britney spears to let jim produce her next album. it's only a matter of time until we know if she accepts. an exciting moment. let's wait and see....

damn! if the summer hasn't already come upon us!
ten friends have organized a camping trip this weekend. to the kern river. jim loves to camp, loves to fish, and loves the kern river.
the radar bros. we're slated to work on finishing touches this weekend.
but the rainbow trout beckon, and he will go to them.
what are we to do when we get pulled away from our work at crucial times?
weigh the fact that inspiration comes from enjoyment and enlightenment, if it shows it's glowing head.
and by the way, if the trout bite, the campers will definitely be biting into the trout. pan fried in a little butter, corn meal, and some spices. over the campfire.

we are now twitting, folks! yeh, i know it's not that exciting for you, but it is for us! wanna get our twits? then go on twitter an get 'em!

not a lot to say, but these things. we've been recording a lot, seven new songs are almost done, but they need some bells and whistles added. we are planning to release an ep soon, but it's hard to commit to an ep when you could just throw some more songs on there and make it an album, right? i guess...
anyway, the songs are mostly about drowning birds, drowning people, dreams of drowning, and radio personalities. stevie treichel is playing some excellent drumkit, brian hussey is playing some amazing bass guitar and singing, and jim putnam is playing some pretty voices and guitar.
we will be going down to chapel hill for mergefest in july. until then, we record.
